13.5 Brushless Motors

The current rule is that 13.5 motors must be ROAR approved from the ROAR list, any 13.5 motor on this list is legal in New Zealand.

There are companies out there that state that their motor is ROAR legal but it does not mean it is ROAR approved. Companies buy what they call tear downs from big manufactures and re-label them as their own. This does not mean its approved, these companies are cheating the system.

Members need to confirm before purchasing, the current list is online now at http://www.roarracing.com/approvals/brushlessmotors.php All Superstock & Superstock/13.5 Spec motors are legal.

This will be enforced at future events.
